Foreign English Teachers Recruiting

The University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) is the only university affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). It is a national key comprehensive university of sciences, engineering, management science and humanities,

In order to further enhance the English teaching and learning at USTC, it is now recruiting foreign language teachers for the 2003-2004 academic year. Anyone who is interested is welcome to apply for the teaching positions.

Qualification: a successful candidate should be

Native English speaker

With a bachelor's degree (or equivalent to) or above

Be in good health

USTC will provide

1. Furnished apartment with weekly housekeeping service and in-room Internet access

2. Monthly salary (details available upon request); 30% may be paid in US Dollars

3. Round-trip international flight tickets (economy class) upon a one-year contract from the school to the teacher’s home point and all necessary expenses of lodging and transportation within China

4. Yearly vacation allowance equaling to the salary of one month
